Spiced Cinnamon Bliss Balls

Bliss balls that taste like homemade hot cross buns?

Yes Please!!

If you don’t find yourself warming to the idea of baking up a storm in the kitchen this long weekend, how about creating the raw version of this Easter favourite?

With just a food processor and few simple ingrediants and you will be chowing down on these spiced fruit infused bliss ball for brekky or dessert!

Makes 12 Serves

What You Need
1 Cup Cashews
3/4 Cup Flaxseed Flour OR Almond Meal
3/4 Cup Dried Fruit of Choice (raisins, currents, apple or sultanas)
2 Tb Coconut Oil
1 Tb 100% Pure Maple Syrup
1 tsp All Spice
1 tsp Cinnamon

For Rolling:
Maca Powder
Desiccated Coconut
Cinnamon

What You Do
Combine all dry ingrediants into your food processor  and blend on high
Keep in mind this will take a couple of go’s to break down the nuts and fruit
Be sure to stop at intervals, scrap down the sides of your mixer and blend again
Repeat process  3 -4 times to ensure a smooth consistency is acheived
Scoop out and roll into small balls
In a bowl, place in a generous amount of dessicated coconut with a teaspoon of Maca Powder and 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
Roll and coat your balls into you spices mix and place into freezer to set

Take and and enjoy with a good cuppa anytime of the day, or plate up and impress your family and friends this season!
